If there's one thing my dad told me it's that life is not so much about what you know as who you know. There's folks you've known forever that are around and then there's n00bs that come on the scene and raise the bar a little. I've not been buying for a while but in the meantime I've been making some good friends on the AFOL sites. A little bit of PM'ing between myself and a few other members got themselves set up to receive an order from me whether I needed their stuff or not. I had made a promise to make a purchase from Miro. However plans changed but he was cool about it. Because he was so cool I kept him number one on the list when I was ready to buy again. So after a month and a half of putting him off, I finally waltzed into The Brick Corner and laid down some cold hard cash.

Recommendation
Miro and I have very similar tastes when it comes out to parting sets. But he goes more for City than I do. He also has easy access to the Legoland California store so there's always a collection of parts from the PaB wall or some very cool small sets (such as polybags and holiday sets) in his store. While clicking through his store my head conversation was saying, "hey, I sold all of mine. Wish I had a few of those back" {add to cart}. The only drawback is that there are no used parts (yet?). You won't be walking down an aisle and suddenly see a stash of 1x4 technic plates. I was surprised that a California seller was charging exact postage with no fees. Only the second such seller that I have run across. Just a year ago Miro started on Bricklink and has since grown to 6 digits worth if items. With his great customer service I expect him to be a pillar of Bricklink sooner than later. Then you'll have to *pay* for his autograph.
