Bricklink Seller Review - BrickSet Restoration (Now RixBricks)

The continual hunt for good lead in text (as with some good pieces) can sometimes get a little discouraging.  There are times when it just comes naturally and other times when it takes a while to get to it.  And then there are no guarantees that waiting will make things better.  Sometimes it gets worse.  Your best bet may be to just grab what you can and then spend your time hunting a bit more until you get something sort of worthwhile.  In this case, the purchase trumps my lead-in.

Order Details
Why this store: As I'm scrambling to get my last minute MOCs done for BricksCascade, this store showed up with several goodies.
Packaging: All smaller parts loose in one bag.  Ugh, sorting, that's all I need when I'm just trying to build.  All larger parts (including a trans 16x16 baseplate) loose in the bubble mailer.  Not what I would call terribly thoughtful.  Thankfully it all came through okay.
Part condition: Very nice for all used.
Communication: To the point, no messing around.
Feedback left: Positive
Odd telltale signs: Label upside down on mailer compared to flap.  No biggie, just interesting.
Issues: One large missing piece.  Showed up in my mailbox 2 days later

Recommendation
Selection, prices and error resolution service were great.  Packing not so much.  All the pieces were in very nice condition but I wasn't too pleased that my trans-clear baseplate didn't have a little more protection.  Or the 6x16 plates.  That's just kind of lazy.  At least stack them in alternating directions (studs up, studs down) and wrap them in something for a bulkier bit that's harder to break when it gets jammed in a machine.
