Bricklink Seller Review - Just What You Need

What is your passion?  If you are a Bricklink seller, I would hope it is LEGO brand bricks.  However I hope that is not your only passion.  But I also hope your passions do not interfere.  I am also passionate about maps and designing houses.  Often, all of my passions have a way of colliding.  But I do have to be careful that my love of the brick does not hinder my paychecks.

Order Details
Why this store: Needed 40 some LBG 6x12 plates.  Had 80 at a great price and reasonable store terms.
Packaging: Lots separated into sandwich baggies (including the 2 1x1 plate with tooth), packed into a LEGO set box, filled with plastic bags, taped shut, and wrapped in some plain paper then nearly laminated with packing tape.  Plates were loosely stacked.
Part condition: Very nice
Communication: Fine.
Feedback left: Positive
Odd telltale signs: Addresses written in pink pen and very nice handwriting.  Perhaps his wife wrote it.
Issues: Marked order as complete after shipping it.  Had to change it back to shipped.

Recommendation
Your invoice may take some time to process as the seller will physically pack your order and take it to the PO to get an estimate.  Then he will come back home and give you your invoice.  After you pay he will return to the PO to ship the parcel.  Perhaps a $10 investment in a kitchen scale would speed up that process.  After discussing shipping options with him I was given the impression that I would get an invoice with $5.80 (USPS counter rate for a 2# Priority package) plus a $1 fee.  The invoice came in at $6.73 + $1.  I contacted the seller for clarification though dreaded that he might have to go back to the PO to be sure.  He conceded my price which was nice.

But then the bizarre happened.  It took almost a week to arrive and was stamped with Standard Post and a shipping charge of almost $4 more.  I don't get it, priority would have been cheaper and faster.  The seller said something about his slightly odd post office and he was glad that the parts had arrived.  Okey-doke.
