New Set Unveiled!

Keith Severson of The LEGO Group was kind enough to fly all the way from Billund to attend Bricks Cascade 2014.  His presence was very welcome as was his mission.  We were aware early on that he would be unveiling a new set at our show but no idea what (though you rumormongers were pretty spot on).

It's now official.

The Star Wars Sandcrawler first appeared in 2005 and has finally received a facelift nine years later.  One of the key features is the difference in the sides.  In the old one they were brick built, studs up.  The new one features studs out and a more refined yet worn look.  Having all the studs out helps to blend the mottled color a bit better than the old one.  But it's still kinda small.  Maybe we'll get a UCS version soon.
